WOW : " "Three Wishes"...

Everyone has wishes. We all wish for that magic lamp which we could drop, a genie would appear and grant us are three wishes although our very first wish would be to never lead genie go but just like fairytales there are no genies and no snapping of the fingers and wish fulfilled. So it’s left to us to fulfil the wishes very close to our heart and here are the three which I wish to fulfil some day - no time restrictions because they are not so easy for me to achieve...

“You two characters are going to Top Gun”

Whoa whoa whoa... The epic line from the 1986 blockbuster, which was all about danger zone, a no holds barred pilot, F-14 tomcats , romancing your instructor and feeling “The need for speed”. Even before I watched this movie in 2004 for the first time or even knew that such a movie had been made in Hollywood, I had always wanted to don the blue uniform of the Indian air force. As luck would have it, I was not so good in maths so had to leave the dream. A few years after that when AXN used to air `who dares wins`hosted by Mike Whitney and Tania Zetta, that was the first time in an episode when I saw an Australian actually flying a MIG 29 Fulcrum in Ukraine as a part of a jackpot task of the show. Somehow I had found a way to fulfil my dream of sitting in a fighter cockpit and handling the controls of the bird. I did some research on that and came to know that Ukraine promotes military tourism and you can actually fly planes of your choice- but that come at a steep price. A few years back, it costed a whooping USD 15,000 which, when translated to Indian currency goes past 10 lakhs. To fulfil that dream. I am looking for this huge amount of money. This one wish flying in a fighter is so strong that if somebody gives me the lifetime choice of flying a fighter or choosing the love of my life forever, I would say to her, “Sorry love, I promise that I love you forever in the next lifetime all you want , but in this lifetime that beauty over there is something I cannot leave.”

Let’s start the afterburners…

I have always been the wanderer type, the crazy person who forgets himself when in the lap of nature or at some historical place and I can walk quite a long distances while exploring until my knees begin to scream with pain. My one wish is to take part in a marathon - full or half it doesn’t matter. I want to compete in any special marathon which might be organised for the purpose of the welfare of specially abled / differently abled people. Prizes don’t matter to me, I want to test and challenge myself when it comes to endurance and pushing the limits of my body when a very well know that I have actually walked so much distance that doctors have actually advised me against unnecessary walking. I want to be a part of such a marathon where I could actually contribute to a cause which could help people who are not so lucky. Apart from that, over the years I have also seen various people take part in such marathon, who are physically limited by their bodies but they do compete, it would be an honour for me to race with such gutsy men and women too.

In my quest to do something different, I have this uncanny knack of either trying new things or gaining knowledge about the fields which I truly love. My last wish was a tie regarding learning between two things and the final choice has edged the other just by a small margin. I want to learn `The sign language`. This thought first came into my mind when few years back and the Delhi book fair. I had met some people who had difficulty expressing what book they were looking at a stall. In the Metro too, I had encountered a few persons who by gestures and indications tried to tell me where they wanted to go and how to reach there. That very day I had decided that if I get a chance and time for myself, I would surely learn the sign language. I tried learning on my own but it’s tough because there is no writing and memorising, it’s all hand gestures and memorisation, which is quite different for the mind to grasp now. Like learning ABCD with a whole new dialect something which I am not trained still. Someday I would be able to learn this language and communicate with those people with much greater ease.

Whether it be walking 42 kms, learning a new language or racing down the runway flying at Mach 2….. These are all wishes that I wish to fulfil in the coming years, let’s see that how much time do they actually take.

How Delhi taught and changed me..

Every city teaches everybody something or the other. I too have learned, the way in which I had never imagined when I was in college. This city which taught me a lot of things, either by my own experiences or by my own observations of the crowd, of the people….is Delhi. While its no closed secret that the gorgeous girls of Delhi are one reason to explore the city and its places, there are some things which happened with me the first time and it lead to a changed me, either for the good or the bad, but it did really teach me.

Although I have written a few blog posts in the past, thanking a lot of my friends as to how I love quite a lot of qualities about them but this post in general is a accumulation of all that, in no particular order. It’s in the same order as which the thoughts come into my mind.

You name Delhi and you can’t miss the chaos travel wise. Don’t compare it with the local trains and commute of Mumbai, that’s another story in itself. This post is about Delhi. When I had started working in Delhi, there was no metro line between my residence in Faridabad and my office in Kirti Nagar. The distance of approximately 40+ kms one side did literally snap the energy out of my body. The Metro started from Delhi and reaching there was something I dreaded. A few days I took lift from acquaintances till Indraprastha and then the metro journey. Later on, I travelled on daily trains stuffed to more than full capacity with me hanging out dangerously close of the door, waiting to be hit by an incoming signal. Quite a lot of times I risked my life to either reach office or home. It was some 5 months before the metro reached Faridabad due to CWG 2010. In all this commute, my body adjusted itself to travel long distances and I later used that to cover monuments.

With a rich history of monuments in Delhi, I was spoiled for choice. Move away the Qutab Minar or the Red Fort, I had something new to explore apart from what I had read in history books. The only issue was that the places were scattered all over the city and and with just a Sunday in hand it was tough. Due to a small navigational error with my friend, I landed up at the Mehrauli Archaeological Park instead of the Minar. That was a discovery in itself because history carried its name there. The so-called haunted Jamali Kamali and even the grave of Balban, it was experience to explore the ruins although in all this excitment wandering our legs literally give up. We had to literally push ourselves mentally to take every step. At least it gave me the endurance to explore historical places later on in the years. I have spent full days exploring Humanyun`s tomb, Purana Qila,Hauz Khas, Lodi Gardens and a few more places, either alone or with equally enthusiastic friends.

Humanyun`s Tomb

When it comes to books, Delhi is heaven and I am saying books in the sense of book fairs, not magazines sold on the streets. Pragati Maidan is the mecca of book fairs because all fairs happen there. Limited to just the national book fair in Lucknow once a year, it was a whole new experience to actually see 5-6 fairs in a year. It tested my endurance more than anything, because I used to roam almost each and every hall and every stall. Later on I mastered the art of skipping halls which were of no interest to me. It got me an insight into some things which I had not witnessed anywhere else, I saw visually impaired people also out there to look for books and their sight on more than a few occasions left me dumbfounded and I used to just stare at them searching books, I can’t describe the scene I witnessed. You can read about Naina later in the post . It came to a point when I had so many books to buy , but no space to keep them.

The confidence which I have gained in Delhi when it comes to hold yourself in the crowd is something I can’t put in words. The very first time I got an invite to a blogger meet at a pub was when I got scared seeing a crowd of just around 200 people. Over the years in the same meets I was comfortable in a crowd of say around 500 people. This confidence of crowd and meeting new people was something I gained only in Delhi. This city also gave a direction to my writing as when I attended various events, I came to know that which areas I am most comfortable in writing and which are way out of my league.

Now that has become quite old when I say that I have made a lot of friends in the city. Be it people who are bloggers, photographers, poets, really crazy people, mischievous, stunners.. The words can go on and on and yet it won’t stop. With more than 100+ people whom I met directly or indirectly via this city from all around the country is phenomenal. Each of them carries his/her own personal trait which makes that person very dear to me. I won’t be able to explain why I love them so much. The brotherhood bond with the guys and the mischievous yet simple nature of the girls are just the tip of the iceberg. Senior people giving utmost respect whenever they meet and yet joke as if I am their own child. Like I said… Difficult to put it in words.

Now this is one thing which I fully discovered only in Delhi and that is… Poetry. Poetry in a way which is easily written without adhering to any known forms of poetry. It’s about writing my thoughts, emotions, pain, scars as they came out on paper and I found a bunch of friends who could sense my pain in my silence whenever I stopped the flow of my poem. They were there to hold me when I cried and totally broke down because it reminded me of someone very very dear to me. Without them, there would have been no poetry for me.

PACH- The poetry people

These are the same set of people who taught me a lot about photography. Seeing the snaps at random or in meetings where we met, I observed a lot of things and the various ways in you could take a photograph. There is a lot more to look for and shoot even with the “ point-and-shoot”cameras. The magic really occurred when you took into consideration the amount of zoom and the amount of frame you can take to click a picture from a different angle to get a very different result. Years back when I would just use to aim and shoot to now when even with the mobile phone camera I get at least 10 possibilities and results while shooting any picture. It’s the power of observation and patience which I have learned from my friends in Delhi.

Who says cricket is the only sport here? I saw people filling up stadiums and venues during CWG 2010 when the news of Indians winning matches in wrestling, weightlifting used to pass on from friends in the stadium. The seats which were vacant used to fill up very quickly with the people getting behind the team and cheering every point won. Not to mention it was a crazy celebration whenever the country won. I myself watched my first live hockey match at the National Stadium in 2012 when India took on France in the London Olympics qualifier final. I could still feel the energy. When I entered the stadium and saw the national team from close quarters. That day I witnessed Delhi coming out to support team India carrying flags, dhols and everything imaginable to celebrate a possible victory. That penalty shootout, and that Indian victory is something that has etched into my memory for the lifetime. On the way, I saw an autorickshaw ferrying people from Pragati Maidan , free of charge to whomsoever was headed to the stadium to watch that hockey match. His words, “ In a cricket crazy nation our hockey team probably needs all the support it can get. And I’m doing just that. Making sure that more and more people reach stadium.” That day India won 4-2.

Delhi has taught me the art of getting lost in the crowd. When the mind seem to be occupied with some memories, I generally stand in a corner of the coach of the metro and stare either blankly at the floor or at the scenes rushing by, there is nobody to disturb me. Once while waiting for metro to arrive, I waved goodbye to a cute 4 year old girl dressed in a beautiful frock just like that and she waved me back and even gave few flying kisses.. That was cute.

Delhi brings the childhood back with Comics con in this is one place where I like to relive the childhood once again, either through the Indian heroes we know are discovering their new and famous english counterparts. The most famous memory and a truly lucky one is when I heard the legendary Late Pran Sahab talk about his life and Chacha Chaudhary.

Delhi changed me a lot..

The incident about Naina is here-  http://www.shwetabhmathur.in/2013/09/blog-post.html

WOW - Soulmates..

Soulmates…I don’t want a soulmate

Life partner, wife… for these are just names for the society.

Instead I look for a girl who can be my mate.

The girl who can be my best friend where secrets find a secret tunnel to flow to.

Where she is not bound to change her name to mine, she has her own identity , she is free to choose.

When she is free is choose what she wants to do- work or be a housewife ? Her choice.

Where personal space is not limited to just the physical space in the house we would live in but the personal space to be yourself in your life.

When she can sit in silence and admire nature`s scenery in full glory instead of telling the whole world about it.

When she would be excited to discover nature while walking down a less known taken trekking path or dive down in the depths of time to know the origins of a monument standing tall.

Soulmates…I don’t want a soulmate

The girl who can be my girlfriend first, be possessive and throw all the tantrums.

The one who can enjoy hanging around with her friends, for she had friends even before she came into my life.

When she can just be quiet and let me be , for indulging in some passions which I have which are beyond her understanding.

When she can take a walk with me on empty roads, on a cold wintery night without asking any questions.

When she could understand my invisible scars on the heart and yet not ask about her.

For that’s one memory I wouldn’t be able to tell and she not able to hear.

Its the same we both would expect.

When she can just be near me and hold my hand , for my mind doesn’t know what it wants and is unable to speak through words- just want her to be there .

Not much that I ask for, for its not a soulmate I ask for.

Its only a girl I look for, who can complete me.

Soulmates…..

Captivating:When the country calls. #IndianArmy

When we respect and look at the armed forces of India for their discipline, why don’t we understand what they go through to defend the coutry?

Origins of this ad are from the Indian Army.. It certainly deserves 12 mins of your time and understanding …

It goes-

I am an officer in the Indian Army

I am a son to 2 mothers , One bore me but the other…my country.. she made me, she made me the man I am… and everytime she calls, I shall hear and I shall heed .. for she sings to me in my hour of need

The visuals speak for themselves..........

Few items from Waazwan.

The story behind this- This post is a hard reminder that demonetization has totally stopped stone pelting proving that they were being pushed by people with vested interests both within the country and outside. Locals do it for money. The other side of the same thing also tries to throw the light that how the whole state which thrives on tourism, is suffering as people are avoiding Kashmir due to cash crunch. “ Waazwan “ here in this context is used as being served in hotels and restaurants and waiting for takers. In the traditional sense, its a lavish 36 course meal prepared in weddings.

Day 2: JoshTalks New Delhi. #LEAP2016

With Day 1 coming to a close the previous day, it was time for day 2 to start and I was running against time as I knew that I couldn’t attend the full session with a flight to catch up later in the day. So here’s what happened on day two -

Ishita Katyal- Size can deceive. She is a tiny 11-year-old girl, a bestseller to boot and thoughts at such a mature level that grown-ups can run for cover. She thinks on topics equal to her age but effects and after-effects so much which the elder people today ponder on. Be it about war, the hike in school fees, environment etc. you name any issue people face today and she has already thought of all that because she realises that the effect of these things today would be having a very adverse effect in the coming future.

Angam Parashar- What he presented was a very interesting topic. He looked to replace human journalism with machines. In an era of everything being sold as breaking news, I think that machines with artificial intelligence could be programmed to provide us with information that is relevant in today’s media and not everything being served as “happening”. They can analyse all daytime in one go, thereby saving a lot of time. Another advantage of this would be in war torn areas where these machines can go and report for all without the fear of loss of human life. Many war journalists lose their lives every year in our war areas across the globe will stop. Maybe these machines could be the UAVs of reportage in the time to come.

Anshukika Dubey- She heads Wishberry, a platform for crowdfunding. It’s a very novel idea and something really different, you put up your idea or anything you are interested in and wishberry would put it up online for crowdfunding, and you can see your dream take wings as a lot of ideas in India don’t have the required money with them to finalise them on their own, and that’s where crowdfunding comes in. There is no limit on the amount you wish to contribute. The movie titled “ Goonga Pahalwan” - about a dumb wrestler who won few medals and which won an award at a film festival was totally crowd funded. Try this website - who knows, you might get a project you would love.

Thats Indie on stage

Sheelika Ravishankar – Team Indus. The only team from India who plans to put the first robot on the moon. The robot “Indi” is a 65 – 70 million robot who actually came onstage. Tremendous is computed ting in a global competition to achieve what others term as extremely difficult, considering that the team behind it has no aerospace background and no deep pockets. It’s working with some 100 active and retired scientists of ISRO. Like America was the first country to put its live on the moon, team Indus plans to be the first team to put the Indian tricolour on the moon by a robot.

Tanmay Ghosh- A common man environmentalist. 23% of the land protected in the name of religion, 6% is with the rainforests. We are struggling when it comes to the environment. Tanmay has worked for years with villagers planting trees, vegetation and changing the whole biodiversity of the place. In approximately 8 years, the green cover of the area has enhanced and now it is home to various flowers, variety of birds and animals which were not there previously.

A Hacking session in progress

Saket Modi- I would call a session purely as a hacking session. He’s a hacker who works with various government agencies when it comes to security firewalls and all that technical stuff. There is not much to write about him and his session because what we displayed was pure pickle when he actually hacked a mobile phone of one of the audience. He set up a private Wi-Fi network on his computer, asked all of us to connect to it and then took the phone of one of the audience. God knows what he did on the screen, he handed over the phone just after 5 seconds and then his magic started working. What we could see was a hacker interface and the various codes running. After 2-3 minutes the whole contacts, messages of that person were displayed on the screen.

Anurag Kashyap- He needs no introduction in any sense. His was probably the longest session of the whole 2 day event. He had come to Bombay with just books and clothes. He started reading for people at Prithvi Theatre, taking no money or credit. Even worked as a waiter at a cafe for free near Prithvi Theatre so that he could network with people. Started writing episodes for daily soaps in 1993. With a writing capacity of hundred pages a day, he became the go to man for content directors. Getting no credit and virtually no money then , he wrote Shanti, Swabhimaan back then. Took a decision to write Satya when he was being offered a lump sum amount to write serial for Mahesh Bhatt. Using natural lighting, long lenses to shoot realistic scenes in movies because the budget was too tight. Travelling luxury buses at night and shooting in the day so that the costs could be minimised. These are just a few examples and that’s how Black Friday, Paanch, GOW, Gulaal etc. got made. When some of his most ambitious movies failed and he suffered a setback, he had to go back to the drawing board again and start from scratch. Be it releasing movies, marketing them abroad, he has done it all and he has to take some really different and difficult decisions along the way.

Ritu Karidhal- ISRO scientist and a member of the Mangalayan team. She presented us the history, preparations, it took for India to put a satellite in the Mars orbit in the very first attempt and that too cost effectively. The climax scene in the movie gravity is much, much more than what India actually incurred on the whole Mars mission. For probably the first time in my life, I got to know the challenges a launch team faces everytime a satellite is put into orbit. It’s a race against time and contingencies. For e.g. communication is something which needs to be thought of in advance and do the programming accordingly. Instructions being fed into the on-board systems, fuel systems, response time from space to Earth and back…. All this is mindnumbing and a huge achievement for a country to get success in the very first try.

Devendra Jhajharia- Somebody whom I had been dying to hear after Anurag Kashyap for the past two days. He was the last speaker for me as I had a flight to catch so I could listen very few things about his story. Having lost one arm at the age of 8 in a freak accident, he did not lose heart and competed in Paralympics defying even age. He was the flag bearer, plus he has already won 3 Asian games gold medal + silver medal. In this Paralympics he broke his own record to achieve distance of 65.9 m to set up a javelin throw world record. Off the record, I had read somewhere that during the Paralympics his 6 year-old daughter had made him promise that if she came 1st in her class, he would also have to do the same. She kept her promise and he did his… with a 65.9.

In the 2 days, I heard more than a dozen speakers each with a very different story that we would not normally know. Inspired or not, but I would surely say that all the stories in some way or the other left us in awe. Some of the known names got the biggest applauses and some of the awe stuck stories the biggest standing ovations I have ever seen in events when the whole place stood up and applauded with such high that it almost became deafening at one point.

That was Joshtalks for me.

Day 1: JoshTalks New Delhi. #LEAP2016

This October, it was time for me to head to the main josh talks event, the same big event of which I had a preview in June this year in Lucknow It was a flying visit for me in the literal sense too. I reached the venue as per the timing on the ticket to say that the preparations was still going on and it would be sometime before the event kicked off. On time, I collected my ticket from the registration counter and headed inside. It was a two-day event and a total of 23 speakers were to be there, something which I had never witnessed before.

The first speaker, which later turned into a host was Deepak Ramola. He heads Project Fuel – a place where life lessons were collected and passed on further to various other people. He has travelled a number of countries talking to various people, interacting with refugees, living in refugee camps for days and weeks on end and learning what those people have experienced in real life. Same is with various people in India.

Many times we have heard about stories of how people make it from rags to riches. Vicky Roy is one such person who did exactly that. Due to poverty, he ran away from home coming to New Delhi and became a rag picker in a company of children at the railway station. Send to a shelter home. He learnt only on his own. With not much interest in academics, he turned to photography as an area of interest in which he related them left the liking. With support from Salam Baalak trust, he underwent many training stints, workshops , where he learned photography. As he rose from the streets to where he was today he decided to shoot street kids through his photos. He has had many exhibitions now.

The next performer, set the beat to the program through music - beat boxing to be exact. Vineeth Vincent. I have never ever heard beat boxing before, so it was a new experience for me. It’s basically using common sounds to make up a rhythm and drum up a beat. He loves cycles and his PPT had really cool hand drawn pics like the ones made using crayons. He also was a hostel in Bangalore, which is named “Mediating monkeys” for people who would like to unwind quite, serene environment. His talk was about his journey as to how he took a beat boxing as a career while doing various things in college. I really wish if pics could speak, you would have really listened to the awesome foot tapping music he created onstage.

Arunachalam Muruganantham can be called the man who is heading the sanitary revolution for women in India. A man from the South, his talk was about how he took upon himself to create affordable sanitary pads for women so that economic will sanitary care could be available to every woman in India. His initial experiments were hilarious as he talked that he himself experimented using a cloth to feel that how uncomfortable it is for women. Later on during his research days on the product and machine he had a team of girl volunteers for the same but there was a huge hue and cry from his wife, which almost headed to a divorce but when he told her that what he was creating she herself volunteered and told him that whatever he intends to create an experiment she would be more than willing to do it, another girl and it would be trouble for the marriage. It was his very success of creating the product he was finally looking out for that, he was called abroad many times to be facilitated by various big personalities , some of whom had net worth of billion dollar. Here was a man from India who had no network still bought commanded respect among those personalities.

Sonam Wangchuck- the real Funsuck Waagdoo from the movie 3 idiots. It was on his character that that character in the movie was based on. Coming from the northern state of Kashmir, he has a school named Secmol where students are chosen on the basis of being failures in academics. All they are taught is practical knowledge which can be used in real life. What I called as a budding group of young scientists all willing to research and develop things on their own. His team made Ice Stupas- tall structures which frees the ice in the form of a mountain inventors and slowly, slowly melted as water in summers ensuring what are all the year round. His school uses solar energy. Apart from the practical knowledge in the school all those failures are taught academics in the way they can understand. So over the past few years, the failure rate of students in class Xth has decreased significantly, all thanks to the way Secmol functions. His Ice stupas are so popular that the Switzerland government has ordered them to be exported there.

Ryan Martyer- There is nothing much I can say about him because I rarely watch dance shows of India. People say that he was a finalist of “ So you think you can dance” and I’ll take those words. What he presented was a three-minute breath taking slow dance performance.

Zeishan Quadri- It’s been years and time since I last watched “ Gangs of Wasseypur” and the whole place erupted which shouts of Definite, Definite the moment he walked onstage. His was the most humorous take on his life as to how his father, like all others wanted him to do MBA but as destiny would have it, he tried different jobs in a call centre before he thought of doing something different and came to Mumbai and struggled like everyone else regarding accommodation, living etc. He had a script in mind, and he knew that only under Anurag Kashyap was the person who could make it into a movie. So he began making rounds of his office, hoping to catch him once and present him with the script. He’ll was a new be in the movie industry who knew nothing about movies, as luck would have it at one social gathering under Anurag Kashyap up got hold of him and after learning from him and from the others about moviemaking, he presented him with the script of GOW. As this script was too long, the movie was two parts with the real Wasseypur being reflected in the script and the movie. Part 3 is being written along with a few others, and hopefully it would be out in 2017.

Robin Chaurasiya- The girl who works with the daughters of the sex workers of Kamathipura. They work under the name “Red light Express”. They bring girls out under this group with the various passions. So the art they could tell people all about being strong in a world full of stigma, go places, see the world, not be ashamed of where they come at actually stand on their feet and be proud that what ever they have achieved through this group something which every girl should be proud of. It’s all about making your weakness your strength.

Babita Kumari- this name needs no introduction now. The wrestlers who warn India medals at the Olympics told us of the story of how his father trained her and her sisters in wrestling so that they bring medals for the country in the sport. Their inspiration was Karnam Maheshwari , when she won medals in the 2000 Olympics. Her father said that "If that one daughter can bring medals for the country, I have four so why cant they??" Initially Babita was scared of training , but as time passed on and she got accustomed it got into a routine where she actually looked forward to practising. The rest is history.

Kuldeep Dantewada- He creates eco-solutions for schools etc and encourages students to come up with out-of-the-box simple solutions to common problems. It puts those students into the heart of the problem and makes them understand them at a very personal level, then the student himself finds ways to create a simple solution. For example- creating a toilet of a 20 litre jerry can which can be used in schools and also saving water. A software by another which can be used in elections where the vote is automatically registered with the main server the moment anyone presses a particular symbol button. This eradicates the problem of both capturing in infested areas where this is very common.

Sofia Ashraf- She is a rapper people say. She stood up against HUL and its practice of dumping mercury into the soil via one of its factories. It was a name and shame campaign, which prompted the company to do damage control after she composed a song named as “ Kodaikannal Rocks” , which went viral in less than a week after being released.

Harsh Songra- He himself suffered from motor disability and it took nine years for his parents to get a diagnosed. Today, he notes, 14, programming languages, and his Facebook page is verified by the Facebook COO herself. He has created an app named as “My childhood app” which serves as a guide for parents of children who have some disability or the other. It enables them to track the normal development phases a child must have, what symptoms should the lookout for in the normal growing of a child, in case they find that their child is not normal “special” as I would say they can also meet and get to know parents of such similar children so that they may not feel the stigma of why on earth does only their child has a particular problem or is there anybody else also facing the same issue. That whole was his journey.

All 12 people. I heard on day one, were fighters at in their own right. Each one had a story to tell, either of struggle, offers reaching a point where they were today. That is Josh talks…. Day 1.

Desi Superhero … A Flying Jatt!

Desi Superhero … A Flying Jatt!

Watch the film on Zee Cinema on 22 Oct @ 8PM and why ??

India’s first flying Superhero - A Flying Jatt saves the day. Bestowed with this incredible superpower he can also display some jaw-dropping martial art moves.

He has a Supermom - Most of the superheroes that we know pledge to save the world have lost their parents to an accident. But this super hero has a supermom who constantly reminds him of his duties. She definitely is a supermom!

Powers + Killer dance moves = Legendary Superhero - He has some really killer dance moves. Saving the world and burning the dance floor all in one – that’s surely no joke. Now that is what they call a superhero.

The youngest Superhero - Hrithik Roshan and Shah Rukh Khan also had special powers in movies like Krrish and Ra.One respectively. But what sets Tiger Shroff apart is his age. At 26, he bagged a superhero movie as his third film while the others have had a longer run in films before had a long career preceding their superhero ventures.

Jatt Fly Karda - As the name suggests, Flying Jatt is all about a superhero who not only goes all out to save his city, but also believes in his prime religious duty of helping mankind. He is the first superhero who has incorporated his human and religious sensibilities in saving his city.

Accidental superhero - Our very own superhero was not born with these powers but became a superhero by accident. A superhero at heart and and one who is courageous enough to fight despite being scared is what makes a ordinary man a true superhero.

Do your chores before you catch the ‘chors’ - He is no ordinary superhero because at home, he has to do all the chores like every other child. From lending a helping hand in cleaning the house or buying vegetables, this superhero has to do it all. He might be a superhero for the world but at home, you have to do what your mother asks you to do.

A hero with a consciousness - We all have to give back to our society and the Flying Jatt definitely believes in this. A protector of mother nature and a condemner of pollution, this superhero does all to protect the environment. Our desi Captain planet.

A child at heart - He might have a serious job at hand but he is a child at heart. This is what sets him apart making him a fun, relatable superhero. He has the superpowers but he also has a child in him who will touch your hearts.

He is coming to meet you soon - This superhero has no airs about having special powers and is very down to earth and humble. So, he has decided to meet you and save his beloved city of Amritsar with the World Television Premiere of his film, A Flying Jatt on 22nd October, 2016 at 8 PM.
